Biography
Ciara L. Rogers joined Campbell Law School as the Director of the Stubbs Bankruptcy Clinic with the beginning of the 2018-19 academic year. In addition to Campbell Law, Rogers practices at The Law Offices of Oliver & Cheek, PLLC in their Raleigh office. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy, alternatives to bankruptcy, civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and employment law.
Prior to Oliver & Cheek, Rogers clerked for Dean Leonard, a former federal bankruptcy judge, and Judge Randy D. Doub of the Eastern District of North Carolina Bankruptcy Court. She also served as a magistrate judge under the Supreme Court of Virginia from 2009-10. She interned with the Bankruptcy Administrator of the Eastern District of North Carolina in 2008.
Rogers received her B. S. degree in Political Science from Averett University and her J. D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law. She is a member of the North Carolina and Virginia State Bars.
