Casey D'Sola
Biography
Casey D’Sola is a percussionist, educator, and composer residing in Raleigh, North Carolina. Casey performs with the North Carolina, Virginia, Richmond, and Charlotte Symphonies, national tours, and regional theaters across the country. Additionally, Casey performed aboard the Norwegian Getaway cruise ship as Fluke in the Tony Award-Winning Broadway Production, Million Dollar Quartet. In 2021, Casey was a member of the PAS International Marimba Orchestra and performed showcase concerts throughout the United States. An award-winning soloist, Casey won the Taiwan Percussive Arts Association solo marimba competition, the NABBA percussion solo competition, and finished 2nd in the Taipei World Percussion Championships, winning the Silver Medal. In addition to his performance career, Casey teaches at Campbell University, William G. Enloe High School, the Ravenscroft School, and maintains a private studio. Passionate about music education, Casey authored a comprehensive percussion method book entitled, A Guide for the Modern Percussionist. This resource and Casey’s composition catalogue are published by Eastern Hill Music. Casey holds a B.M. in percussion performance from James Madison University and is an Artifact Percussion, Dynasty Percussion, and Sabian Cymbals performing artist.
