Biography
Dr. Adolphus R. Bryant Jr. is a seasoned educator and financial management professional with over 13 years of experience spanning academia, government, and military sectors. He earned his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trident University International, graduating with honors at each level.
In his current role as an Adjunct Professor, Dr. Bryant is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in Business Analytics and strategic leadership. He brings a wealth of practical experience to the classroom, fostering a dynamic learning environment focused on real-world applications and professional growth.
Dr. Bryant also serves as a Financial Management Analyst II at Duke University, where he provides strategic oversight of departmental budgets, enhances forecasting processes, and implements innovative financial operations strategies. His leadership has resulted in improved efficiency, increased accuracy, and enhanced team performance.
Previously, Dr. Bryant held key leadership positions in the U.S. Army, including serving as Senior Operations Director for one of the world’s largest Special Operations Training Bases. In this capacity, he managed complex financial operations, led process improvement initiatives, and directed personnel training and resource management. His efforts significantly improved operational efficiency and team productivity while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
