Biography
An-Qué F. DeBerry, MSW, LCSW-A, ABD, is an Instructor of Social Work and Program Director with extensive experience spanning higher education, clinical practice, program administration, and policy-informed advocacy. In her role at Campbell University, DeBerry directs the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, ensuring accreditation compliance while leading curriculum development, student advising, and faculty collaboration. She is actively engaged in institutional initiatives focused on recruitment, retention, and student success, and contributes to university governance and student organizations, including Phi Alpha Honor Society and the Social Work Club.
Her prior professional experience includes roles in federal and military systems, where she served as an Accreditation and Certification Specialist and Management and Program Analyst, evaluating programs, interpreting policy, and leading strategic initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness. She has also held positions focused on family advocacy and domestic violence prevention, including work overseas supporting military communities through crisis response, victim advocacy, and program development.
