Biography

Chris is originally from Charlotte, NC and received a BA in History and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He took an interest in Higher Education and earned a Masters in Education with a Higher Education concentration from North Carolina State University, and competed his PhD in Higher Education Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Chris has worked in a variety of student affairs settings including The Center for Academic Integrity at Duke University and Carmichael Gymnasium at N.C. State. Since then he has found a home at Campbell and has served the university for nearly 20 years. The Department of Student Engagement and Learning oversees New Student Programs, the Student Union, and Student Activities Responsibilities of the department include the Campus Activities Board, Inter-Organizational Council, the Student Government Association, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Orientation, Tartan, First Year Seminar, and Union Operations.

Chris spends his free time watching his son and daughter play youth hockey.
