Biography

Danielle “Dani” Evans joined Campell University as the Director of Compliance and Title IX Coordinator in September 2024. In her dual role, she provides guidance to the university on compliance and risk management while overseeing processes for addressing Title IX matters.

Prior to this position, she was the Senior Campus Investigator for the Office of Title IX & Clery Compliance at UNC at Pembroke. She implemented trauma-informed practices in her work with campus community members who experienced sexual harm and provided space for everyone to be heard. She also sat on the CARE Team and Threat Assessment Team assessing individual and campus safety concerns.

Before joining higher education, she was an Associate Attorney at a general defense firm in Meridian, Idaho. In this role, Dani gained experience working on issues related to civil rights, constitutional law, criminal law, family law, and Title IX. Her experience and background in assisting those who experience deprivations, discrimination, and violence, support her humanized approach to compliance work.
