Dr. David Coniglio

Biography
Dr. Coniglio holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of the South, Sewanee, TN; a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Tennessee; and a Doctor of Education degree from North Carolina State University. He received his Physician Assistant training at the Medical University of South Carolina, and practiced Medical Oncology for the care of patients with breast cancer for 23 years. He taught physician assistant practice for 15 years, at Duke University and at Campbell. Currently he serves as the Director of the Doctor of Health Sciences Program in the Department of Public Health.
Dr. Coniglio has a special interests in public health, research in adult education and medical education, and issues of faculty work life.
