Biography
Dejan Mraović earned his master’s degree in graphic design from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He attended the College of Visual and Applied Arts in Belgrade, Serbia and the School of Design, in Belgrade.
He works as the Visual Arts Program Director and the Coordinator of the Graphic Design Program at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Previously he worked as the Coordinator of the Graphic Design Program at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas and at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. Prior to this job, he worked as the Coordinator of the Graphic Design Program at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky where he started a new graphic design program in 2012.
Dejan Mraović taught these courses so far: Elements of Art and Principles of Design, Graphic Design 1, Typography 1, Graphic Design 2, Typography 2/Layout, Graphic Design 3, Packaging Design, Digital Photography, Animation, Art Appreciation, Art History 1, History of Graphic Design, Graphic Design Internship, various Independent Studies and Senior Show.
He has been actively working in the graphic design field. Some of his clients include Wayland Baptist University, Plainview, TX; Rotary International, Lubbock, TX; Wichita Falls Art Association, Wichita Falls, TX; United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City, OK; Red Dirt International Film Festival, Stillwater, OK; Belgrade Bakery Industry, Belgrade, Serbia; Borba, a daily newspaper from Belgrade and Tourist Organization of Prijepolje, Prijepolje, Serbia.
The art of Dejan Mraović has been exhibited, presented, or published in 22 U.S. states as well as in 25 countries of the world.
