Biography

Dr. Bringhurst received her medical degree from Kansas City University. She went on to complete residency training in family medicine at Firelands Regional Medical Center and osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe. She is also a graduate of the Campbell University Masters in Health Professions Education program. She is the chair of the OMM department at Campbell, and is active in teaching in the classroom for students during their preclinical years as well as at the bedside for students on clinical rotations.

Dr. Bringhurst is clinically active at the Harnett Health Family Medicine Residency, where she is a core faculty and Director of Osteopathic Education. She is passionate about teaching both medical students and residents in both primary care and specialty OMM settings.
