Dr. Susan DesHarnais

Biography

Susan DesHarnais serves as a Professor of Business in the Healthcare Management department in the School of Business. She earned her BA, MPH and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan.

Before beginning her stint at Campbell, she worked as a faculty member at UNC Chapel Hill and the Medical University of South Carolina, and for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan and The American College of Surgeons.

DesHarnais has led several major research projects and consulted in the areas of quality and safety improvement and healthcare management for many years. She has also served on study sections for the National Institutes of Health and the Veterans Administration.
