Biography

Dr. Schoenborn has been on faculty with Campbell University since 2018. Prior to joining the Campbell family, she completed her undergraduate and pharmacy school training at the University of Florida. Dr. Schoenborn then went on to complete a PGY-1 at the North Florida/South Georgia VAMC in Gainesville, FL and a two-year Academic Fellowship at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, NC. She is a split-funded faculty member, with half of her time serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor for CPHS and the other half as a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner with the Cardiology and Heart Failure services at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Dr. Schoenborn is the course director for Pharmacy Practice Skills V (PHRD 613) and co-course director for the Cardiology Elective (PHRD 618). She also teaches several of the cardiology and pulmonary hypertension lectures in the therapeutics courses. Dr. Schoenborn precepts students for both Internal Medicine and Cardiology elective APPE rotations. She is a member of several local and national committees. Dr. Schoenborn is active in research with students, as well as with industry-sponsored clinical trials at her site.
