Biography

Eugene W. Chianelli, Jr. serves as an adjunct faculty member at Campbell University, teaching courses in income taxation at the graduate level. Chianelli received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from James Madison University, as well as a Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law. He also earned a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from Washington University Law School.

In addition to his duties at Campbell University, Mr. Chianelli is a partner at Williams Mullen in Raleigh, NC, where he specializes in taxation and business law. He has over fifteen years of progressively greater experience in the practice of these areas and assists private and public entities and their stakeholders on transactional, planning, controversy, compliance, and best practices issues. He has an extensive background advising in corporate and partnership taxation, estate and gift taxation, state income, franchise, sales and use tax, and general business law.
