Breck Smith received his B.A. in Studio Art. Smith went on to receive his M.F.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Drawing and Painting. After graduate school, Smith worked as an Exhibit Design Technician before coming to Campbell University. In 1990, Smith received a North Carolina Artist Fellowship from the North Carolina Arts Council. In 2025, Smith received First Place in the 14th Annual National Juried Exhibition. Mr. Smith has been in higher education for more than 30 years.
