Biography
Heather Weber, DO, FACOP became the Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM) in 2025.
A 2010 graduate with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Lee University in Tennessee, Dr. Weber always knew she would follow a path into medicine but decided first to pursue an additional career in high-school math and science education. After graduating with her undergraduate degree, she taught internationally in South Korea as well as domestically in Oklahoma before entering medical school in 2012.
Dr. Weber graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OSU-COM) in 2016 followed by completion of her Pediatric Residency training at Oklahoma State University in 2019. Dr. Weber became board certified by the AOBP shortly after and relocated to Oklahoma City to help build a new pediatric clinical practice. During her time practicing in OKC, she was named Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at OSU-COM, where she helped organize third year pediatric medicine rotations. She served as a preceptor for rotating medical students from both OSU and KCUMB colleges of osteopathic medicine. In 2022 Dr. Weber took a career break to become a full-time parent where she observed child development and the impact of parent-child interaction in real time.
In 2023 Dr. Weber relocated to the Raleigh, NC area and continued to pursue her career in academic medicine by becoming an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the CUSOM clinical skills and simulation departments. In 2025 she joined the faculty full-time as the Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Weber still practices clinically as a pediatric virtual urgent care physician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and golden retriever, staying active and traveling the world.
