Jane Moran, MLS, serves as Campbell University’s Medical Librarian. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Moravian College and a Master of Library Science degree from North Carolina Central University. Jane began her career with the Cumberland County Library in Fayetteville, NC, where she held positions as a Reference Librarian, Children’s Librarian, and Branch Manager. Her other professional positions have included Medical Librarian for Southern Regional Area Health Education Center and School Librarian for two Cumberland County Elementary Schools. She has also trained numerous library paraprofessionals through Fayetteville Technical Community College’s Continuing Education Program. She is a member of the Medical Library Association, and enjoys teaching research and technology skills. She enjoys reading, writing stories and plays, and performing in community theater productions. She and her husband Tony are the proud parents of two teenage daughters.
