Dr. Jennifer Strom

Biography

Jennifer Strom joined the Campbell University School of Nursing in 2017 with nine years of nursing experience, five of which specialized in psychiatric nursing. She began as a Clinical Instructor for Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and in 2018 became the Course Director of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and Nursing Health Policy. A Campbell alum, she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She holds a master’s degree in psychology as well as associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a concentration in nursing education in March 2022.  

Jennifer is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, North Carolina Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Capella University Nursing Association, Psi Chi National Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Association. She also volunteers with the National Alliance of Mental Illness.
