Biography

Judie Bruno works in the faculty of Campbell University where she teaches Voice, Sight Singing/Ear Training, Music Appreciation, and directs the Campbell University Opera Theater. Judie maintains a private studio which is open to singers of any age and experience level. She has rigorously trained in the art and science of classical voice. She earned a level III certification in Somatic Voicework – The LoVetri Method. She is an active member of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), her students regularly place in the classical, music theater and pop audition categories and also qualify for regional and national competition. she has presented workshops throughout the southeast on such topics as straw phonation technique and song analysis. She has an MM Vocal Performance and BS Music Education, Teaching Certificate K-12.
