Kendra Hancock joined the Campbell University Athletics Department as an Assistant Director of Academic Services in July 2012. She was named Director of Student Athlete Support in July 2015. She oversees the athletics tutorial staff, study hall monitors and serves as the department liaison to University student support services. She works with the Camel student-athletes to achieve success both in the classroom and on the field. She provides academic assistance for golf, women’s soccer, softball, swimming, wrestling teams. She previously worked with the Campbell men’s basketball 2012-15 and baseball from 2012-16.
Prior to her move to Campbell, Hancock was a part of the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she completed her master’s degree. She spent four seasons as an Operations Assistant for the Durham Bulls: the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. Before arriving in Chapel Hill, Kendra served as an Athletics Intern at Villanova University. She had the opportunity to serve all varsity athletics teams and work directly with the head coaches and administration. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with dual bachelor’s degrees. While at EKU, she served as Head Manager for the EKU Mens Basketball team.
