Biography

Dr. Frank comes to Campbell University with 30 years of service in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Intelligence Officer and additional experience as a Senior Intelligence Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency. His deployments took him to Beirut, the Arabian Gulf, Somalia, South Korea, Japan, Afghanistan, and East Africa. His primary focus has been on operational intelligence and intelligence collection. He teaches in the Homeland Security curriculum, including Terrorism, Insurgency, Interagency Operations, Intelligence & National Security, Intelligence Operations, and the online Senior Seminar in Homeland Security.

Dr. Frank received his BA in Political Science from the University of the State of New York, his MA in Diplomacy from Norwich University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of the Naval War College and the Armed Forces Staff College.
