Linda Davenport serves as the facility manager for Campbell Law’s 110,000 square foot campus, managing all building systems, maintenance and housekeeping personnel, and security services. She coordinates all facility needs for a variety of law school meetings and events, as well as those for external groups using the building. Davenport also administers approximately 500 parking spaces owned and leased by the law school, manages the assignment and maintenance of all student lockers, and oversees the operation of the mail room.
Davenport enjoyed a lengthy career in property management prior to joining the Campbell Law administration full-time in June 2015. She has managed the law school facility since it opened in 2009 as an employee of both Alliance Commercial Property Management and NAI Carolantic Realty, Inc. The law school campus — previously known as “Hillsborough Place” — has been under Davenport’s supervision since 1997.
Davenport’s real estate management career began in 1985 in Downtown Raleigh as the property manager for Urban Properties/Capital Club Building. Since then, she has managed many office buildings, flex properties, and shopping centers throughout Raleigh and Wake County for both NAI Carolantic and Alliance. Her responsibilities included operations and capital budgeting, implementing and maintaining strong tenant relations programs, administering a variety of vendor contracts, and regularly communicating with building owners and asset managers. Prior to beginning work in real estate, Davenport gained management experience with the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Henderson-Vance County Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Raleigh Development Corporation.
Davenport holds a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and the internationally-recognized Real Property Administrator (RPA) certification from the Building Owners and Managers Institute. She is also a licensed real estate broker.
