Biography
Lisa L. Snedeker joined the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University as Director of Communications and Marketing in September 2018. She most recently served as the Director of Communications, Public Relations and Marketing at Wake Forest University School of Law for more than a decade. Snedeker is a magazine and newspaper veteran, who has been a reporter and editor for The Associated Press, the Fayetteville (N.C) Observer, the Las Vegas Sun and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, among others. She has taught journalism and communications at several institutions including the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and Dixie State University in Utah as well as English as A Second Language (ESL) in Tianjin, China, and Rockingham Community College in Wentworth.
Snedeker is active in a number of professional and civic communities, including serving on past boards of the Tar Heel Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Executive Board of ConvergeSouth as well as serving on the communications committee for the annual meeting of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS). A member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), she also serves as the event chair for the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum Board and on the Town of Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre Advisory Board.
A resident of Cary, Snedeker holds a master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois at Springfield and earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and French from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana. She most recently earned a certificate in faith-based nonprofit leadership from Wake Forest University’s Schools of Law and Divinity.
