Biography

Mary Carr Allen Bentley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, before earning her dual degree from Campbell with a Master of Science in Public Health and Master of Physician Assistant Practice. More recently, she also received a Master of Health Professions Education from Campbell.

Mrs. Bentley finds great purpose in serving the Lord through the platforms of medicine and education. To her, the most important element of being a PA is empowering and encouraging her patients and their families to seek a healthy lifestyle. Similarly, her favorite part of being part of Campbell’s Didactic team is helping her students reach their full potential by embracing their natural strengths and the opportunities set before them. Before entering the world of academia, she practiced at the Wake County Health Department in the Child Health Clinic. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, her family, and friends.

Mrs. Bentley is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Education Association, and the Society for Physician Assistants in Pediatrics.
