Biography

Meade Varner is an Instructional Designer at Campbell University, where she plays a pivotal role in enhancing educational technology and implementing andragogical principles for course and faculty development. She works with the Mabel Powell Quality Training program, guiding new faculty through comprehensive training and supporting them in developing courses for Adult & Online Education. She is certified in Quality Matters and the Mabel Powell Quality Training for Online Course Design. As an instructional designer, Meade is committed to leveraging her skills and experiences to advance the use of innovative technology in educational settings, ultimately enhancing the learning experiences of students and educators alike.

Originally from Morehead City, NC, Meade graduated from North Carolina State University, where she earned both her Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology and her Bachelor of Science in Applied Education: Learning Design and Technology. She has experience working for the Onslow County Board of Education, in K-12 classrooms, and for Merz Aesthetics, where she designed instructional materials for healthcare provider education and built online modules for their client education portal.
