Biography

Melissa is a native of Cumberland County, NC, and a 2005 graduate of Fayetteville State University with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She is married to her husband, Eric, and they have two beautiful children, Dylan, and Avery.

Melissa has more than 15 years of experience in higher education, which includes her time at Fayetteville Technical Community College and Methodist University. Methodist University is where Melissa fell in love with her position as an admissions counselor.

With the love and passion she had with the admissions field, she made her way over to Campbell University where she was passionate about the community and believed in our mission “Leading with Purpose.”

Since then, Melissa has moved forward in her career and has taken on a new role as Collections Coordinator in the Bursar’s Office. She is passionate about helping students with maintaining their financial health of business and striving to preserve student relationships.

Melissa is passionate about helping future Camels find their way to Campbell University and highlighting all the things that make it home. She believes education is the key to everything worth having in life.
