Biography

Dr. Patrick Larkin is an Associate Professor of Finance at Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. He earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida, an M.A. in Economics from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans.

Before joining the faculty at Campbell, Dr. Larkin taught at Fayetteville State University for fifteen years, where he won several teaching awards. Dr. Larkin has published articles in the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Financial Education, and numerous other referred journals. While teaching at Fayetteville State, Dr. Larkin was a portfolio manager for an online fintech startup from 2011-2014, and for his own registered investment advisory firm from 2014-2017.
