Dr. Peggy D. Smith

Dr. Peggy Smith joined the Campbell University School of Education faculty in 2004 as an adjunct professor and in 2007 as the full-time Coordinator of the Master of School Administration program. She is a currently a tenured Associate Professor.

 

Dr. Smith served public schools for more than 30 years, was honored as North Carolina Principal of the Year in 2001 and received the Jay Robinson award for statewide K-12 Impact In Education. She was elected to the Johnston County Board of Education in 2008 and served until 2020.
