Biography

Phillip Morrow has served on the Campbell faculty since August of 1998. After teaching appointments at Indiana University Southeast, and North Greenville College (SC), he assumed duties as Director of Choral Activities at CU, where he coordinates and/or conducts 4 active vocal ensembles and tours each year with the Campbell University Choir.

In addition, Dr. Morrow teaches conducting, voice, and upper level courses in the department’s Church Music track. As the Coordinator of Church Music studies, he is responsible for advising and mentoring students who are pursuing the B.A. in music with Church Music emphasis.

Together with wife Susan, Dr. Morrow established the Campbell Children’s Choir Camp, a summertime music-intensive experience for upper elementary through middle grade singers. Highly successful and now in its seventeenth year, C4 camp has become an important adjunct for music students in Harnett and surrounding counties. Susan and Phillip also serve as ministers of music at Memorial Baptist Church in Buies Creek. The Morrows have three children–Chris, Hilary, and Isabel.
