Biography

Rachel was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC but now lives in Smithfield, NC. She graduated from William Peace University with a B.A. in History and American Studies in 2021 and in 2023 from North Carolina State University with an M.A. Teaching Secondary Social Studies. Previously, she taught high school history in both Johnston and Wayne Counties.

Rachel is passionate about helping students navigate their future after high school and is looking forward to getting to know future Camels and watching them grow academically, professionally, and personally. If you can’t find her in the office, Rachel is probably in a nice sunny spot with a book – if you see her, be sure to let her know what you’re reading!
