Richard Rubin serves as an instructor at Campbell University, teaching courses in human resources and marketing. Rubin received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hobart College in Geneva New York, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Syracuse University.
Mr. Rubin has a vast amount of international experience as a senior executive within the ecommerce, marketing, and product development practices. He served as the Vice President of Global Web Marketing for IBM, where he developed and executed a groundbreaking ecommerce and merchandising strategy responsible for growing the company’s online revenue to $1B+. He later moved to SAP Corporation, where he served as their Vice President for Global Web & eCommerce, and designed a business development and implementation plan to drive web commerce and bolster the SAP brand. Some of his other accomplishments include the launching of the Pepsi Challenge across the United States, which played a large role in allowing Pepsi-Cola Company to overtake Coke in market share, and the successful startup of Richard Rubin Consulting, LLC, in the RTP community.
