Biography

Sally Zeigler Thomas, soprano, is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Studies in the Fine Arts Department of Campbell University. She has served in this capacity since the fall of 2008. Dr. Thomas holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the Master of Music degree from The Ohio State University, and the Bachelor of Music degree from Meredith College. She also holds Kodaly Certification from Sam Houston State University, K-12 Music licensure in North Carolina and has studied at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. Dr. Thomas has been active in the Triangle as a recitalist and adjudicator for many years. She is a member of NATS, MENC, NOA, PKL, and SAI. Prior to her appointment at Campbell, she served on the faculty of Meredith College.
