Biography
Sarah Sattelberg is a veteran and military spouse with a passion for service to others. During her time in the military, she served as an army medic in 168th Medical Battalion in Yongsan, South Korea and 115th BSB 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas. After leaving the service and becoming a military spouse, she focused the next 16 years on advocating for military service members, their families, and veterans by volunteering with nonprofit organizations and military programs. She has been a volunteer and leader with the Association of the United States Army since 2010. With this organization, she has served in a variety of roles including chapter president, national young professional chair, national spouse advisory group member, and various other chapter level roles. With this organization, she has helped to develop and implement a young professional committee at the national and local levels. In her professional career, Sarah has bloomed wherever the military planted her working in marketing, sales, healthcare, administration, and education at locations across the country and globe. In 2020 Sarah relocated to Holly Springs, North Carolina with her husband SGM (RET) Ryan Sattelberg and their three children Audrey, Jackson, and Reese. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, photography, and gardening.
