Sarah Wade is the Assistant Medical Librarian at the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History Education from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina and her Masters in Library Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
In June of 2016, she became a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals as well as being a member of the North Carolina Library Association, the American Library Association and the Medical Library Association. As a part of ALA, she is a member of the New Members Round Table where she is the co-chair for the handbook committee. As a member of the Medical Library Association, she sits on the Grant, Scholarship, and Fellowship Jury Committee. She previously served as the Library Assistant in the medical library as well as serving as an intern with both the Wake County Public Library system and Wiggins Memorial Library at Campbell University.
Sarah and her husband Paul, who is a machinist for Flowserve in Garner, NC, live in Holly Springs, NC with their daughter, Caroline, and dog, Emma. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter, reading, playing with Emma, and spending time with her family (especially her nieces and nephew, Sophie, Zoey, Grace, and Joseph).
