Biography

Mrs. McGuire joined Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (CPHS) in August 2013. During her time at CPHS, she has served extensively in all aspects of admissions and recruitment, culminating in her promotion to Assistant Dean of Admissions in November 2024. With a diverse background in admissions, recruitment, advising and student success, Mrs. McGuire is deeply passionate about guiding students through their academic journeys, helping them take meaningful steps toward their goals, and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Mrs. McGuire has served as an adjunct instructor for first-year transition and academic recovery courses at both Campbell University and the University of Oklahoma, where she has helped students successfully navigate and adapt to the university academic environment. As a military spouse stationed overseas, she assisted numerous active-duty service members in navigating their educational goals and maximizing tuition assistance opportunities.

Shari earned her M.Ed. from the University of Arkansas in December 2004, and her BS in Mass Communication with a minor in English in May 2003 from East Central University (OK). She was a first-generation college student, a college student athlete, and the first in her family to earn a graduate degree.
