Biography

Suren Palakkal serves as an adjunct faculty member at Campbell University teaching courses in Global Supply Chain Management for the Campbell MBA program. Mr. Palakkal holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Industrial Engineering.

Palakkal is an accomplished APICS certified (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) Supply Chain professional and an APICS Master Instructor with 30+ years of versatile experience with global corporations in Supply Chain Process and Leadership roles, including VP – Global Supply Chain consulting, Materials Manager, Supply Chain Project / Program Manager, Principal Consultant, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple aspects of Supply Chain including S&OP, Advanced Planning, Supply Chain execution and Materials Management.

He has taught hundreds of students around the world on Supply Chain topics and Certifications, including to leading organizations in the USA, Middle East (Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE), and the United Nations Supply Chain Management African HQ Organization in Kenya.

Suren loves to work with and mentor younger professionals in helping shape their careers and professional acumen. Suren has been the President of the local chapter of APICS and currently volunteers as the VP of Education. He is also a volunteer with ASCM/APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) as a mentor in their Careers and Certification committees. Suren loves to travel and lives with his wife Asha in Cary, NC.
