Biography
Dr. Terrie Hampton-Jones is an Associate Professor and Director of the Teaching Scholars Academy. She was named a Fulbright Specialist for 2023-2026. Dr. Hampton-Jones received the Deans Excellence Award for 2024. She is a Campbell University Hallmarks team member and a contributing author to the newly published Our Prayer: Prayers, Liturgies, and Reflections for Campbell University. Dr. Hampton-Jones is an ACUE Belonging completer. Her education is extensive. She has completed an associate degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Organizational Development from Mount Olive University, North Carolina. She received a Master of Arts in Educational Supervision and Curriculum Instruction from the University of Phoenix. She completed her teacher licensure at Fayetteville State University and a certification in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University.
Dr. Hampton-Jones received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, North Carolina. She holds the following educational licenses: School Administrator Superintendent, Computer Education Endorsement, Instructional Technologist Specialist, Curriculum Instructional Specialist, School Administrator Principal, Business Education, and Information Technology Education. She is also a National Board Certified Professional Teacher. She is a certified online instructor for North Carolina Virtual Public Schools. At Campbell University, she teaches technology and education courses in the School of Education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has been named the Coordinator for the Masters in School Administration (MSA) for Adult and Online.
