Biography
Tydal M. Jackson is the Coordinator of Graduate Medical Education. Born into a military family, she has resided in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she attended Fayetteville State University, obtaining a BA in English. She later attended East Carolina University for a MAT in Teaching. After devoting seven years to teaching high school English in Cumberland County and Harnett County, she later took a position in Student Support Services at Robeson Community College in Lumberton, followed by working as the English Lab Supervisor at Nash Community College in Rocky Mount. Her career path in Eastern NC came full circle as she subsequently returned to Harnett County, accepting her current position in Graduate Medical Education.
Outside of her passion for education, Tydal enjoys writing fiction, watching scary movies, spending time at the beach, traveling to the northwest, and spending time with her loved ones.
