Wendy Bryant

Biography

Wendy, a native of Clinton, NC, began her educational journey at Sampson Community College, where she received an Associate in Business Administration. She transferred to the University of Mount Olive and received a Bachelor’s in Management and Organizational Development. She continued her education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and received a Master’s in Administration and Supervision, an EdS in Curriculum and Instruction and finished with a PhD (ABD) in Educational Leadership. She has worked in public service for 26 years, retiring as a middle school educator. Wendy is also a licensed insurance agent specializing in Life, Health, Medicare, and Retirement. Most recently, she was the Indian Education Coordinator for the Coharie Tribe, in which she is an enrolled member. In addition to working traditional educational avenues, Wendy also enjoys educating others about financial services provided through the insurance industry and trains other insurance agents to do the same through her independently owned insurance agency.

Wendy has four grown children and loves spending time at the beach, traveling, playing the piano, and singing with her praise team at church.
