Wendy Welker

Biography

Since October 2023, I have served as Director of Development for the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business and Campbell University, where I lead strategic fundraising efforts to advance the university’s mission and strengthen philanthropic support.

In this role, I develop and implement annual fundraising plans for the School of Business and university priorities, identify and cultivate relationships with alumni, donors, and community partners, and secure major gifts and multi-year pledges. I manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, providing thoughtful stewardship while building long-term partnerships that support student success, academic excellence, and institutional growth.

As a primary fundraiser for designated territories outside of North Carolina, I collaborate with campus leadership, faculty, and advancement colleagues to expand donor engagement and advance university-wide initiatives. I am committed to fostering meaningful relationships and helping Campbell University create lasting opportunities for current and future generations of students.
